Stallingborough is a small village in a rural setting which still retains a rural feel even though it is close to more populus areas and major industries. Amenities include a public house, Post Office, newsagent, hairdresser and a railway station. The village also has a large village hall, Church of England primary school plus a Montessori nursery and primary school, two retirement homes as well as the church of St Peter & St Paul.
To the west of the church lies a scheduled monument, comprising the earthworks of a medieval settlement and a post-medieval manor house and formal gardens.
